Feral

Feral is a body of functional ceramic artworks and a ritual dinner conceived during my recovery from a near-death experience. While confined to bed, I longed for the woods that inspire me and I envisioned golden threads linking animals, plants, and the people I love. These symbolic pairings—white stag and mugwort, bear and huckleberry—were embodied in sculptural goblets, gold-accented plates, and handcrafted masks for a wild midsummer feast that was never realized. When the pandemic halted the gathering, I held the ritual alone in the woods.  In those photos, I didn’t just return to the wild - I became it.
