Seafoam

Seafoam—affectionately known as the bubble party—was a vibrant midwinter gathering designed to lift spirits through playful absurdity. Guests received invitations printed tiny on balloons—only readable once inflated—then arrived dressed in sparkles to be “bubble cleansed” on entry, breaking tension with laughter.

At the table: a handbuilt bubble-glazed tea set with baby octopuses, iridescent flutes with even more baby octopuses, safety gear, and a delightfully strange spread of mochi ice cream, vegan caviar, and boba tea. The highlight was a group art activity involving bubble glaze, rainbow beakers, and ceramic platters—an explosion of color and joy. Finished pieces were later fired to be returned as keepsakes of silliness and connection. (They are still in progress!)

Seafoam was a frothy celebration of ephemeral beauty, creativity, and the sacred power of shared laughter.
