Wonder doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes it’s hidden in plain sight — a moment of beauty, a quiet invitation, a small disruption that makes the world feel larger again.
Miss Wondersmith is an art practice rooted in wonder, nature, and connection. Through food, ceramic vessels, story, and shared experiences, she creates spaces — both real and imagined — where people can remember what it feels like to be curious, delighted, and fully present.
Sometimes, that wonder takes the form of a gathering: whimsical, heartfelt moments shared with friends or with strangers who stumble upon an invitation at just the right time. Other times, it lives on the page, in the kitchen, or in the quiet act of making something with care.
Since she can’t invite the whole world to the table (as much as she’d love to), she shares her work through writing, recipes, and community spaces — so others can cultivate wonder in their own lives, wherever they are.
Inside
this world:
At the heart of Miss Wondersmith’s work is a belief that wonder is not frivolous — it is necessary. It is how we remember ourselves, our communities, and the land that holds us.
This practice takes many forms: seasonal recipes shaped by foraging walks, ceramic vessels built slowly by hand, quiet invitations into mindfulness and creativity, and — occasionally — real-life gatherings offered freely to community.
Some moments are discovered by chance. Others are shared intentionally. All of them are guided by care, curiosity, and a refusal to turn magic into a transaction.
You’re welcome to wander, observe, or participate as deeply as you like.

These words come from people who have encountered my work in different ways — through gatherings, recipes, writing, or quiet moments of discovery.
